I am still having issues with the Merc 9.8. I put on a card kit. This kit did not include a new idle/mixture screw or float. I guess just gaskets and washers. Cleaned with carb cleaner and air. Rebuilt the fuel pump except for the check valves. I swear this thing was running good and now.. It will idle and miss (or something) every once in a while. Sometimes it will just die. It will start right back up. Seems to run fine at WOT, maybe a little low in RPM's. I have tried different plugs (hot range and cold range). I am now running seafoam through. I added it to the gas. I am now feeling that the tell tale water is hot, should it be? Maybe because of the hotter plugs? Man I want this thing to run better but it may be beyond me. Help please if you can.
