Ok , I had the carbs rebuilt ,cleaned out, I was having and idle problem, it wouldnt stay idling when trying to put on trailer... so I had the carbs done... now its still doing that a little bit, its just a bit better. now it wont or dont feel like it takes off when you want to go WOT, it takes a while to get on plane, like it has no power, sometimes it will take sometimes it wont. I took the engine cover off while running down the creek/river ,and went WOT manually by pushing throttle linkage with my hand, like an on /off on/off, it finally picked up and went WOT. Im not taking it back to the guy that done the carb , he had 2 chances at making it better, any ideas on the problem im having now. any info will be appreciated.:)

If you have to manually play with the throttle linkage, my guess is that you need to have the link and sync done to the outboard...he probably messed up something when he removed the carbs to rebuild them...do you have a manual?

if the carbs do not work in sinc with each other, and with the timing it will do that. start with the carbs, then do the linc n sync. have all your fuel lines been changed over to alcohol resistant lines? if not do so. you clean carb could have already be contaminated with sluffing rubber. Ethanol.

and this stuff settles right into the high speed jets.
