I Have A 70 Hp Evinrude With Power/tilt And Trim
Installing A Gtrim Guage
Where Is The Best Place To Access The Wires From
The Sending Unit .
Are They In The Harness With The Wires That Go To The Tilt And Trim Switch
There Are 5 Wires Three Go To The Swithch And 2 Are Unattacd
One Is Black And One Is White
What Are These ??

Ok back to the future,
two wires are most likely your trim gauge wires, it hooks to your trim gauge sending a resistance reading to have the gauge function.

hook them to the gauge and see which way the gauge reads, if it reads backwards then re connect the wires the opposite way.

you can verify the wires with a dvm by measuring the resistance while you are triming the engine
