Let me start over real quick.. 1988 OMC 4.3 v6in a Four Winns 205 Sundowner. Origininally runniing hot, 180-190, never overheated, oil is good, oil pressure is good. changed head gaskets, intake gaskets, asked here for help and over whelmingly was told Impeller. While i was waiting for impeller to come in I ran a hose to the water tube and ran the motor and it ran cool, 160 and exhaust manifolds were able to touch no problem. Put outdrive on and ran with muffs and fine, 160 and maintained. Just put in water, still on trailer and temp ran up, 180 or so and engine was hot to touch. Had a mechanic tell me that he believes the port side head is cracked, but the engine runs too good for a cracked head i believe. Now, what do you think? I have an extra set of heads, should I chande them out? Please Help!!!!! Thanks in advance
