Stinger

Has anyone heard of Stinger as a boat brand? A local dealer told me that he has a 1988 22' Stinger on a dual axle trailer with 5.7L motor for sale for $8000.00. Any idea if this would be in the range of a good deal? Thanks.

Looking at NADA, Stinger boats are listed for 1997 - 2006.

I don't know if this helps any.
