I have a 1994 Crownline 180br with 4.3 mercruiser V6 alpha one and prior to purchasing this boat the previous owner has replaced it with an edelbrock street carb. Anyone have any ideas what carb came originally with this boat ?
Look at the base in front where it bolts to the manifold, if there is a #1409 stamped in it, it is the marine version....if not it's an automotive carb and MUST be changed!

I'm having fuel issues with a 1990 Baja, same motor, possibly the same carb. I'm in the process of searching for a manual, If I find it I'll let ya know. The 4.3, from what I've been told, is a 350 with two cylinders removed and I would be surprised if Merc put alot of flavors of carbs on.
