I am the proud owner of a 2003 182SRX (bought used) and was wondering if anyone knows what size (pitch and diameter) cames standard on it when new. The reason I ask is my 4.3l (190hp) tops out at 4300rpm and 43 mph (GPSed) with just me in it and I think it should be hitting about 4700rpm and 47 mph. The prop on it now is an aluminum 19/14.5. If I drop down to a 17 pitch prop that should bring my RPM up but will the mphs go up as well based on the less pitch less top end principal. Thanks.
