Stopping Door Rattling?

I have an old '88 Harris Kayot and everything from the fence supports to the door stops are welded on. Ugly in a lot of ways, but solid as a rock. Unfortunately the doors rattle in the door stops something awful. To the point of extreme annoyance at full throttle.

I'll post an actual picture of them, but for the time being this is pretty much what it looks like:

There is about a 1/4" of play in the door stop bracket and no other hardware (other than the pin hinge) that is present on the door or the supporting rail/fence.

Any creative suggestions on how to create a snug fit and kill the rattling?

Foam fill with sticky tape on one side. Like weatherproofing for doors.
