Storing resin in other containers

Hello all. I just bought a 5 gal bucket of poly resin. I’d like to transfer some of it to a smaller container for easier handling. Is it ok to store in a new paint can? I also have an old empty resin can that I can clean out. Any issues with either of these? How do you guys deal with large volumes of resin?

One of our members made a handy roll around tilt dispenser I'll see if I can find the pic. But to answer your question YES a New 1 gallon Paint can would do just fine.

Wow that thing is amazing! Thanks for sharing but I think I’ll go with the paint can option. But I just noticed that it has a coating on the inside - no idea what it is. Would you still use this?

Yeah resin is fairly inert until the hardener is added.
