Just learned that I can not get a transducer for my Lowrance X65. Want to purchase a new reliable depth finder with a shoot thru hull transducer. Don't want to spend a fortune, any suggestions?

Straight up would be impractical IMHO:facepalm: Side scan was out of my reach and need. I opted for a gray scale Humminbird. Fit both wants and pocketbook.

Lots of transducers on E-bay. You need the transducer model number to be sure you get the right one for th X65.

Straight up as opposed to a combo unit, not as a technical question (beam spread, angle...). Thanks for the info.

If you are looking for a straight Depth Finder, Faria make one with Air and Water Temperature.
