Maybe it's that stupid carb?

Another carb system bites the dust! :D

Might have been a fluke. If not, you've got a short that got jiggled just right. I'd do a visual inspection of everything, and if you don't find anything, hold your breath and see if/when it happens again.

As far as the neutral button... Take it back apart, and put it together right this time.

Howdy,

Circuit breakers open for 3 reasons.

1. you pull it.

2. it's faulty. (yes CB's do fail)

3. rated current is exceeded for the required amount of time.

To fix.

1. Don't pull it.

2. replace it.

3. find the component or short that draws excessive current and fix it.

It's that simple.

Cheers,

Clean all the grounds. Check your wires, one of them have the insulating rubber, rubbed off grounding out?

You install something new electronic? Radio, fish finder, one of them super duper boom boom stereos.

Take your time and put the control back the right way. They ain't cheap.
