225HP OMC on a 1987 Sea Drive.
Running at no-wake speed (2000 rpm
) peeing nicely.
Rev to cruise speed- 3600 RPM when the engine bogs down to 2100 RPM for perhaps 10 seconds. Suddenly, back up to 3600.
Again a few moments later at WOT (5100) bogs to 2100, then back again to WOT without problem.
Strangest thing? A third time a few moments later. And never again.
Vapor Lock?
Another hint: To make it happen? I slightly raised tilt. Electric hydraulic drive. (Yes, 14.1VDC from the stator.)
Power pack problem? Dirty connections caused by this?
