Strange Yamaha Warning Buzzer

I have an 07 Yamaha 90/65 jet 4-stroke with around 370 hours. This year, the motor began to occasionally sound the warning buzzer on a cold start-up. The buzzer would come on a few seconds as a continuous tone after the engine starting, at which point I would shut it down. The first time or two, I suspected possibly low oil pressure, so I pulled the cowling and checked the oil level, all good. Once I restart, I get no alarm. I did see that there's a water in the fuel sensor that is connected to the alarm, but will only sound when in neutral. I checked this today when the alarm came on by shifting while it was sounding. it It had no effect. I would suspect if it were low oil pressure, that I would hear valve noise, like you would after an oil change before the oil circulates, which I do not. I should also mention that I do have a Yamaha multifunction tachometer, but I installed it after it came off a boat that sank, so I'm not sure if I trust that the warnings on that would come on. What do you all think it could be?

High or low oil pressure maybe .
Yamaha just looks to make sure the oil pressure is in a mapped range. If it is too low or too high it will set it off.
You could tee in a pressure gauge into the oil system to see what it is seeing when the alarm comes in just to make sure

You are going to have to get it connected to the YDIS system to find the problem.

Just an update, I have switched to 10W-40 from 10W-30, and the issue seems to have went away. I normally switch to 40 weight once it gets a bit warmer, but never did this year. I wonder if 30 weight just wasn't thick enough to build oil pressure quickly when it was 90 degrees out.

are you using straight 30 or 10W30? 30 weight should have worked fine.
