Stringer and Deck Glassing question

I am trying to get a definative answer for glassing my stringers and deck. I am rebuilding a 20' 1985 wellcraft elite bowrider with a 305 mercruiser.

Based on reading everything I can get my hands on I plan to:

1) Tape in the stringers with 12" tape and completely wrap with another layer of 1708

2) Tab the deck/hull with a layer of 1708 and coat with 4 oz cloth

I am using epoxy

Is this enough for this boat?

yes that sounds pretty good.

Be certain to bed the stringers in PL...... Use a peanut butter mix smoothed out with a plastic spoon fo the joints where they meet the hull. We have some great epoxy/glass experts here so if you get jammed up just ask.

Thanks for the responses. Been grinding all winter and it feels good just to get to the reconstruction point.

I am struggling with the bedding issue. My existing stringers which are 3/4 pine trim board were well off the hull...1/2" to an inch. I have decided against bedding them in peanut butter which based on my research doesn't allow for enough flex/give/movement and can create the same hard spots we are trying to avoid. That being said while I won't use it on the bottom of the stringers I will use it for the angle joint to soften the turn for the 1708. I am assuming PL will give a softer more flexible joint for both the stringers and deck.
