I am new to striped bass fishing and I want to know how you rig the line if I want to use a swivel, leader, clip-on sinker, and a hook. If you could also include a link to the stuff that I should buy that would be very helpful. Thanks

I set mine up with a barrel or bullet weight then a bead then the swivel leader sometimes 2ft. or 3ft. 2/0 hook. Where are you fishing at? If you can get shad that is the bait you want first if not try anchovies or sardines.

I'm going to be fishing on the Delaware River. I've been told bloodworms work too?

Try going to (Stripers247.com) you can get a lot of information for your area. Plus if you have any tackal shops nearby go talk to them they can give you help with setup and bait...

Re: Striped Bass Fishing

when 'i fish for striper I setup my rig like this: (sorry, i only have ms-paint,lol)

for bait we use: anchovy, sardine, grass shrimp, ghost shrimp, or blood worms.

only striper fishing on the boat I've done is anchored, which is when we'll use this rig. Or from the shore.
