The Machine Shop said my 1996 5.7 vortec block had a very bad spun main bearing. They recomended that I find another block for my Stroker rebuild. My question is should I find a pre 1996 block to work with so I dont have to worry about the electric fuel pump conversion? Also will any 1 peice rear main seal 350 block work for what I'am trying to do? I'm using the 1996 Vortec heads and a Edlebrock performer intake. Thanks, Mike

Thanks Greg, That might be a good way to go. That should save me a lot of money at the Machine Shop.
