I was on a service call a while back and a lady gave me a 1975 16' Stryker fish and ski boat with a 135 Evinrude outboard engine. Since then I have found that the flooring is real weak and the transom looks as if it needs some repair. Now I don't know that much about boats but I'm a quick learner and being in the maintenance field all my life I'm pretty good with my hands. I would like to do the repairs/restoration myself so if anybody could suggest some good reading on these matters it wouldhelp me.<br />I've stripped all the carpet out and it does not look as if the floor was meant to be taken back out (i suppose this is normal).So must i cut it out?¿ Secondly, I have found plenty of info. on the outboard on the net, but have been unable to find any info. on the boat itself. Is this company still in existance?
