I'm looking for a family ski/fish boat, with O/B, and I just saw an ad for a used boat that really appeals to me. It's a 19' Seaswirl Striper 1850, open bow with 130hp O/B. Looks like any other open bow runabout in the photo, but it reads like (and the Striper name implies)a fishing boat. It has a dual console. The seller is an older gentleman who only used it for fishing and he had no clue whether it would pull up a skiier. Does anyone know if this boat will suit my purposes? It's a 2 hour drive to go see it, so I'm doing some research here before I go see it. Thanks in advance!

Dave, I have the 21' Seaswirl Striper DC, with a 150HP OB. That boat will indeed pull a skiier, and should be pretty good for fishing, as well. Mine has a built-in bait well and fishbox. These can be used for storage when not needed for bait or fish.
