I have a steering cable from the '82 Bay liner Liberty that needs to be replaced.
I got it part of the way out of the tube but now it appears stuck
Any way to get it out without bashing to death with a hammer . I heard that was not a good idea

if this is an outboard, cut off the old cable, buy a new tilt tube to stuck piece of cable, buy a new cable the crusty cable
