stumped???

i have a 67 johnson 100 hp model number V4TL-13A on the top of the carbs i think there is something missing there a spring or linkage. ( see photo)

sorry the picture is so bad the idle is still running very high i checked the fast idle controll its as slow as it can go. any help would be great

Best to hold the pixel width of the picture down to 600. As it stands (above) I have no idea what I'm looking for.

yeah my cameras not very good but thanks for the diagram that helps now i know theres no spring on the butterfly lever
