Stupid things you hear in airports.....

I fly a lot, and tonight in Milwaukee I am sitting in the terminal as I type this, waiting for a Midwest Express flight to CMH (home).
A couple (who would look to be of at least average intellegence) sitting near me were watching a C-130 Hercules and a KC-135 Tanker land.

The idiot female remarks:
"Ohhh! Look at the big planes!"
"I didn't know they landed here"
"Do they take off from here?"

Brain dead hubby replies:
"I don't know if they can"

There are a large number of these planes sitting directly across from us on the tarmac at the ANG base.
Evidently they assume this airport is some sort of final collection point for these planes and we will soon be stacking them like cordwood.

A few weeks ago I was sitting next to a blonde in a 747 with a view of the wing. She asked me "what are those big things that hang down for?" (the engines)

I had my ipod on the rest of the flight. d

I worked for a guy that told a prospective customer on his cell phone that the reason they had a bad connection was the wind blowing the satellite around..... we didn't get the job
