I was fishing Charleston Harbour for the second time and was tied off to a bridge piling. As I recall the fishing was good. Anyway along came this Submarine at full throttle pushing a wake that to me looked like a tidal wave. Before I could cast off I was up the first one and down into the trough. The second filled the boat and the third washed over it not dumping water but also taking away extra life jackets and such. I found out then my Fisher marine would float when full because of the flotation in the seats. I eventually got it all bailed and pumped out. <br />Same boat I was caught in a storm on the lake and headed for shelter. I got shallow and had to turn when I did I shipped a boat load of water and drove the motor under killing it. Since I was in 3 feet of water I bailed out and pulled it in to where it was not rough. I pulled the plug and the water came out whilke she was still in it. Eventually I got most of it bailed out but both my main engine was out and my trolling motor batery was shot so I had to tow it back about 3 miles walking through the water. I found some glass and cut my foot so bad that it kept me from fishing and enjoying the rest of my summer break even after paying to get the motor all dried out and running smooth agian.
