Gentlemen,
I am proud to say that I have finally succeeded in getting one of my two Chrysler 55HP motors to run. I still need to do a little tuning and timing but it starts up everytime, pumps water and shifts like a dream. I just want to say thanks for all the great advise and I could not have done it without the forum and everyone here. You guys and gals are the absolute greatest.
I may end up having a few extra parts laying around from the motor I had to canibalize. I probably want to keep a few for my RUNNING motor but I will make the rest available here when I decide what I want to get rid of.
Does anyone know where to get coils for a Battery start ignition 55HP ? I would like to find some and keep them back as spares...
Thanks again, you're the best.....
