Well, yesterday was the day. The day that I dared take the project out on the water. I was given a free boat and trailor last summer. With all of your wonderful help and advise I was able to take a boat that has sat uncovered for 4-5 years, had more grass and moss growing in it than my backyard, and the engine not running to a boat that I took out off the coast of CT - RI and made it back safe and sound.
I had to ask some very basic questions and you guys all just answered those questions with out making it fill silly asking.
I did find that some of my gauges need repair or replacement. The first run was just over an hour on the water. Also learned that I need more practice docking the boat. But hey, it was the first time ever trailoring, offloading and on-loading.
Thankfully, I had a great friend go out with me to teach me the ways.
Can't wait to go out again.
Thanks
Hal
