yesterday I was pulling my boat up on the beach and came in a little too hard and actually sucked water in the carbs. the motor stopped right away, then i pulled the plugs and turnd the motor over to get the water blown out. dried the plugs off and put back in and restarted the motor. did i do the right thing? the motor runs good but i am just kind of being cautious. the water was fresh water,no salt.

If it were me I wouldnt be conscrened about it. You did the rite thing by restating as soon as possible. what little water you did not blow out with plugs removed would soon evaporate after restart.

More power to ya!
