I have a mercury mariner 60 which lost all spark on all cylinders suddenly, twice. The first time i was out on the river and it just happened suddenly, i opened the cowl and the rectifier was burnt, it didnt work before because i dont need charging since i only use the battery for starting the motor. After a lot of rowing. i brought the boat home and let it sit for a few days. After letting it sit, it fired right back up and ran nicely. So i took it out on the river and it died again, i got it back home and now it dosent want to start. I suspect it is the switchbox since the stator makes 9vac to the rectifier and 170vac to the switchbox while cranking. The trigger has also the right ohm readings. So im wondering if im right with the problem being on the switchbox. The part number for the switchbox is 332-7778
