Suggestions needed for boat with a bow pulpit

I have a Wellcraft 190ccf. I have had the boat for almost 20 years and there is one issue I have always had. When loading the boat on a steep ramp I have to start with the wheel wells out of the water or the pulpit doesn't clear the winch. Then I have to get back in the truck and back the boat back down the ramp to center the back of the boat. It is a simple operation with two men but if I am alone or with an unexpienced boater it can be a pain.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a setup that would eliminate the two step process?

Roller trailer or bunk trailer? Either way (but especially if bunk), does the trailer have any center/keel rollers?
Do you have any kind of side-guides in the rear section of the trailer?
What's the gearing on your winch?

I'm wondering if, with a good short-geared winch, rollers of some kind, and side-guides, you'd be able to get that hull up and straight onto the trailer without that "second backing" step.

It's a bunk trailer. It has one keel roller towards the bow but the boat has never rested on that roller. We just welded a makeshift bracket on the trailer to raise that front roller a few inches but it didn't seem to do much good. Also lowered the winch as low as we could.

I added a keel roller to the trailer under my 250 Sundancer. It helps, but doesn't solve the problem completely. Love the bow pulpit on my 250 but it makes loading on a trailer a PITA sometimes. Mine has an anchor roller sticking of the end which adds to the fun!.......LOL

I hate the pulpit on mine but mine is a smaller boat, makes the pulpit almost worthless. Also my dog wants to ride on the pulpit, she has already fell off of it once. I think I found the solution to my trailer problem tho. I googled 190ccf and looked at a bunch of pictures of my model boat. Most of them have the winch on a longer bracket which would put the winch handle several inches lower without lowering the roller that rests against the bow.

My buddies 26 foot Larson loaded like that. Myself I’d relocate the winch lower run the belt over a pulley so it still pulled forward but that will require some minor fabrication skills. With three people we had it down to a simple process one guy’s backing the boat trailer ones running the winch ones driving the boat. But a pain with less than three.
