Should/can there be a gap in between your panel of decking? My scenerio is i have my 3/4"ply wrapped in nautalex, and am ready to fasten down to my stringers. One of the reasons im doing it this way is just in case i need access to under the floor, i can remove it. So im thinking of leaving a 1/4" gap in between them, which i can caulk. If i need to take one out then, i can cut the caulking and not damage or tear off any of the vinyl on it or the adjoining panel. If i snug them up tight and seal them, im pretty darn sure im going to really goon something up if i ever remove one! Does anybody see anything wrong with this idea?

I would get them as tight as I could and forget the caulk,....
