I started bass fishing again a little over a week ago. And man i've been having a blast. There is a small 7400 acre lake near my house and i've been going quite a bit. I usually go in the evenings after work. I have been catching fish pretty consistently, but they have been pretty small. But yesterday was the best day yet. I started out by hooking into a nice 2-3 pounder. Unfortunately it spit the hook back out at me. But it felt nice to get something with a little size to it.Then I didn't do much for about an hour. So I headed back for the ramp, as there is some pretty thick stuff right by there that holds some fish. after about a half hour and two war-mouth I suddenly hit a spot that was really active. In about 20 minutes I cought 7 fish and got a bite in almost every cast. 
Yes, I was very happy. I went through a whole bag of worms in that short time span. I think it would have been a great top-water bite but man I was getting short on time and the plastic worms where doing the trick just fine. <br />Anyway, I just thought I would share my little story with yall.
