Sump plug size

Looking at changing the oil in Mercruiser 3ltr,what size is the sump plug,I bought one of those sump pump you attached to the dipstick but never worked

Did you have the oil warmed up before you used it?

No did not warm Engine up,will try again with it warmed up,but still need size of plug

Ayuh,.... The thread diameter/ pitch, or the wrench size to pull it,..??

I think it's a 1/2"- 20,.... but I've seen several different head sizes.....
