sunbird boats

Need info on max hp on my boat,sunbird is out of business and doesn't have a website and the sticker is gone. It's a 172 spl center console,also interested in gas tank size thans in advance.It's a 1989 by the way...<br />

i have a '97 sunbird 200cc. max rating is 175hp. would assume yours is 135-150, but can't be 100% sure. good luck-

do you guys have a problem with your gas guage ? my 98' 170br,s gauge bounces like crazy. i never know how much is in the tank!

i think the fuel gauage problem is one with many boats of this kind, not just sunbird. mine doesn't bounce, but seems to stay at full a little too long, then suddenly drops. use the search feature and you'll find a ton of posts that discuss the shortfalls of fuel gauges on many boats. good luck-
