Well here's the deal....I got this boat pretty cheap knowing it would need some work but i had no idea what i was in for.....It would start up fine but once it warmed up and got shut down it wouldn't crank so i would move the distributor and it would crank.....I did a compression test and 1 and 4 had 110lbs and 2 and 3 had about 30lbs.....so i bought new rings, valves, and head gasket....tore apart the engine and changed all that.....put it back together and now i don't have over 30lbs in ANY cylinder....they're all about 25......CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!???

My 1st Guess would be that Either the Rings or the Valves or The Headgasket was Installed Improperly......

Hello<br /> my guess would be either head gasket was installed wrong. valves were given a wrong preliminary adjustment or the cam timing is off. cam timing being late will cause low compression on all cylinders. good luck but it sounds like its time to pull it all back apart and recheck everything

What can I do about cam timing being late?? Valve preliminary adjustment??....I thought I should just leave them loose and adjust from there...
