GEDC2940.jpgI need to know the make of this trailer? I believe it come with the boat as a package when new. It has a light blue stripe above a dark blue stripe down both sides of the trailer. Does anyone the make of this trailer? Thanks.

Re: Sunbird Trailer Question

Sunfish, I moved your thread to the trailer section for better exposure......

Pix may help determine the make....... Is there a plate on the trailer with the specifics?

Re: Sunbird Trailer Question

No plate, it's registered as homemade. I need the make for parts purposes.

Re: Sunbird Trailer Question

If this is truly a homemade trailer then there will be no make or model. If you need axle or brake parts there may be a tag on the axle. But the rest of it will be a crap shoot as far as getting parts.

Re: Sunbird Trailer Question

I deleted the other thread, so we can concentrate answers here.

I'm in the same camp as T_Herrod. If it is homemade, then there is no make. And I see trailers as similar to boats, The manufacturer is not as important as the individual components. Very little except the frame itself is proprietary.

Ayuh,... There ain't no manufacturer specific parts on that wagon,...

What/Which parts ya needin',..??

Bunk brackets are generic,...
Axles, bearin's, 'n what nots are also the same as other trailers,...
Either found by measurin', or by stamped part numbers...

Re: Sunbird Trailer Question

It's not a homemade trailer, just registered as homemade. I need a cross member, the one that holds the bunks toward the front of the trailer.
