I have an opportunity to pick up a 2003 Sundance Skiff 17CC with 50 HP 4-stroke Suzuki, trolling motor, fishing package, pedistal bow seat, CG package, safety package, trailer, etc - all in like new condition for a very reasonable price. It sounds like a good deal to me and the boatmotor have low hours (around 50)and it is in like new condition. (this is real person, not a ebay scam)

Does anyone know anything about Sundance Skiffs? They appear to be low end Boston Whaler knock offs. This one looks pretty good.

Re: Sundance Skiff 17CC

Chuck,

If most of your use is going to be in rivers and smooth water, I would assume the boat would do a great job.I have a 17 foot Carolina Skiff which is basically the same thing and Im very pleased with it. It is very stable and roomy for a boat that size.
I use it in the fresh water here and the rivers and bays of Florida.
If you want to use it in water that gets rough, youd be better off with a different hull.

Sundance has a pretty good web site.-- Just do a search.

I have fished out of a Striper Model 17 Whaler, and for fishing purposes (in the way I fish) I liked mine better.

Mine will run about 32 mph with a two stroke 50. Cruise is about 26 mph.

Hope this is of some help.
