As we all know last year for the first time one of the participants in the Super Bowl was playing on their home turf.
Fast forward to 2022 and once again one of the participants will be playing in the Super Bowl once again on their home turf.
For 2023 the NFL is adopting a new rule to prevent this from ever happening again. All future Super Bowl games will be played in Detroit at Ford Field. Why, because everyone knows that the Detroit Lions are never going to be in a Super Bowl game.
