Re: Supper Tyme

You obviously didn't read the "retirement" thread. If you had, Mrs. Tyme would have cleaned and cooked the fish!

Looks and sounds yummy!

Wow!! That looks great.
Never eaten catfish - (never seen one either - guess they have fur or whiskers or something like a *****).
Pleased you put up the photo as I know what a dill pickle is, but never heard the term 'spear'.
When I visit your country guess I am going to have to go to Greenville.
Cheers

Phiilip, if you ever visit the interior of the U.S.A. please be my quest. We can fish in my neighbor's pond and catch some of those catfish. (No fishing license required on private property). Depending on the time of year I'll give you a short tour of the Ohio river on my boat and show you where the monster catfish lurk.

Re: Supper Tyme

I am going to have to have a holiday one of these years, and I have been thinking about the US. Wife and I had a week away together 4 yrs back, and we got away with the kid (family holiday) 13 yrs back, so I would like to get away some time. We are not looking for the city thing. So thanks for the offer. I just may take it up.
Thank you.

All you have to do is arrive at Louisville International airport and I'll pick you up and give you a place to stay (our house) and wine and dine and entertain you to the best of my ability. Probably not much wine but I can provide you with some good Kentucky Bourbon. June through August are nice weather months here.

We are close to a small family winery that sells fresh produce and such. You might be interested in their operation and I'm sure I can arrange a tour for you. We are also close to a riverboat casino that I never go to but maybe you like to gamble, I don't.

We are also about 2 to 3 hours away from Mamouth Cave, one of the largest cave systems in the U.S.A. if not the world. That has turned into a bit of a tourist trap however.
