sure could use evinrude paint & year

I've gone to the "Antique" web site, but I don't think my motor fits that category. I'm pretty sure it's around a 1972 or so, 6 HP Evinrude Fisherman model. There is no model number plate, however the serial # is 6102G-J05502. Sure would appreciate it if someone can tell me where to buy some paint and decals ? And maybe the year in case I need that too ?

Your model number is 6102, the J05502 is the serial number.<br />That model number checks out as a 1971 Evinrude Fisherman. I see they have the 'Dark Blue', '69-71 here:<br />Antique outboard Paint <br />You might want to check with the owner of the site to make sure that's correct.<br /><br />As for decals, I'm not really sure where you can get them. There's some '79 6hp evinrude ones on ebay right now, as well as some more generic Evinrude ones.

For decals look here http://www.americanoutboard.com/ . Even they don't have you motor listed, they encourage inquiries for non-listed items.
