Check with NAPA or some other auto supply and see if they can cross reference the plug you're using now to a surface gap plug.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
I didn't keep the surface gaps either. Regular champions went back in and stayed after the first change. There was no difference in performance, slow or fast. The only difference was the surface gaps cost double or something. That was in 1980 on a 140 Johnson.<br /><br />Aren't the surface gaps meant to work only with high power CD ignitions?
