I have a 140 suzi that has warning light flashing in the engine warning it pulse 3 and 2 according to the book it is the map sensor , I have replaced the map sensor and cleaned out the map port but the light still flashes any ideas . It is not the 100 hour service light as I have done a reset on that .

I don't think the alarm conditions automatically reset, Graeme. Did you try the same reset that you use for the service interval alarm?

I no longer have a Suzi Service Manual, but there may be a reset procedure in there somewhere.

Good luck. :)

JB tnx

That might be the answer I did not think to do a reset . I will try that when I go back to the boat .

Re: suzi 140 4 stroke

make sure that your battery is in good condition.

code 32 is map sensor 2 code and monitors the absolute pressure in the intake manifold.

usualy if there is no obstruction in the intake manifold and the sensor is not faulty (like your new sensor) the ECM could give you a false alarm.

trust me if you had a real vacuum(absolute pressure) problem in the intake it would idle like crapp.

if the battery voltage drops because of a weak battery the ECM gives you sometimes a code 1/1 and sometimes a code 32.

i know it doesnt say it in the manual but this is what we find in the field.

clean all battery cable conecters on engine side and baterry side.
make sure the battery is good.
make sure the white keep alive wire is in good condition.
and tighten the cables with lock washers and nuts.

good luck
