Hi there:
I have this 2stroke 8 hp motor and I am putting in new NGK plugs. Do not have a manual -bought used--can anyone tell me what the gap is for the sparkplugs. Thanks in advance

Hi,

Sorry I did not notice your post earlier. I have a DT8 circa 1983, DT8-0801 ---

The owner manual specifies NGK BP6HS (or 5HS if standard plug tends to get wet, or 7HS if standard plug tends to overheat), gap 0.031-0.035 (0.8-0.9mm)
