Suzuki 4 HP Idle problem solution

I got 1996 Suzuki 4hp that had problem at idle. I found that the oil mix was the cause. When I had 50:1, it does not idle and stall. When I changed it to nearly 100:1, it idles like a charm.....just F.Y.I.

that doesn't make sense to me at all ..... changing the oil fuel ratio will not make any difference to how a 2 stroke idles ....... a 4hp 2-stroke suzi should be mixed with 50:1 ... otherwise you will have problems later on .... believe me, a suzuki likes oil ..... adjusting the air/fuel screw on the carb will improve your idle problem .......

makes great sense, u are running a diluted mix so u will not foul your plugs

most of the injection motors now are like that

i would be concerned on WOT though
