Suzuki buzzer too low

Hello, from Barcelona

I have a df140 ATX with 50 hrs on it. Great engine.

The question is about buzzer volume: REALLY TOO LOW... only at the first check ( 2 secs with engine stop and ignition on ) or at iddle ( when trolling up/down can you ear it.... I,m sure that if a problem occurs at 5000 rpm, only ligths will be apreciated.

Is there any possibl?lity about volume incrasing for the buzzer, or install an additional one?

My old evinrude 150 V6 has really a sound ALARM not a surround as this suzi.

Your answers / help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

no way to increase it from what I know,
but you might check to make sure it functions properly by finding someone with a set up like yours to see what theirs sounds like.

Something to think about though, is there will be a RPM reduction at high RPMs along with the lights and buzzer, so you will be looking to see what just happened

Thanks for your quick answer. I have already ask to my neighbour at dock and... the same volume..... I?m thinking to cancel the existing buzzer ans install one from a old control box evinrude, but i?m worry about compatibility, because as is one output from the ECU, wrong conexion or uncompatibility will damage the ECU and is not a cheap spare part....

Thanks again
