The displayed engine temperature has been a bit unstable recently, it usually sits @ 56 deg C or 133 deg F.
The temperature has been up to 80 C / 175 F a couple of times. The thermostat is the original from 2015 so I'm planning on replacing it.
The catalog shows two choices: 122 or 160 deg F, ( 50 or 71 deg C )
which one is normal?
I guess if my engine temp is usually about 133 then the original thermostat in there now is probably the lower 122 deg F version.
I never use the boat in freezing temperatures, normal ambient temperature is about 40-80 deg F or 5-25 deg C
what thermostat settings and running temperatures do other folks see on their outboards? especially similar Suzukis such as DF 150 175 200?
