2021 Suzuki DF 2.5 nearly new, very low hrs.
This isn't mine but it is a relative's that I am trying to fix for him. First it was left with fuel in it and wasn't starting, so I cleaned the carb as well as I could and tried it again and it starts and idles fine, will pick up RPM but at higher RPM the power heard vibrates from side to side, seems like a misfire to me rather than a typical carb problem. I would have removed the small jets inside the carb body but they are very easy to strip so left them alone and blasted out every passageway and jet with compressed air.
Tried cleaning the carb again this time in an ultrasonic cleaner but the same result.
Any ideas, suggestions, etc. I am thinking of replacing the spark plug and checking the coil primary and secondary resistances next.
