Suzuki DF115 spun hub type issue....

2004 df115 4 stroke

Issue - shift into forward and have forward thrust at idle. However when attempt to increase throttle, rpms rev up high but speed/thrust does not increase. HOWEVER when I put it in reverse, it performs as normal, strong reverse.

Have replaced prop hub and now the Lower unit. At idle the motor idles smoothly as normal. Reverse sounds normal. In gear in forward audibly sounds normal. Heck even when the rpms sound normal. I am at a loss what the issue could be! Or what should I try next?! Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like motor is mounted too high.----Model # of the motor ?-----And post the exact height of the transom.

Is this a sudden new problem ? Like changing motors on the boat ? Or removing motor & putting it back on ? Or a new boat ?
Check if the throttle cable ends are damaged or slipping in 1 direction at either end.
