Just got a new 2022 Suzuki DF115. Previously had a Yamaha F115 and used the MyWedge to take the load off the trim/tilt system while trailering. Suzuki DF115 has a single ram trim/tilt system. MyWedge makes a single ram version as well. I was wondering what other Suzuki or really another other single ram system T&T users were using. It's a fairly heavily built custom alum boat so I'm not really worried about trying to take the load off the transom itself. Really looking to limit the shock of trailering on the T&T system. Any thoughts or other devices you all use would be appreciated.

Never seen that, looks interesting. My outboards had flip down brackets for trailering. What does your new motor say to do when trailering? Surprised a 2023 outboard would not address that.

It says, if you can, trailer it vertically; and, if not, use a transom saver.

My Yamaha just has the flip down bracket, that seems plenty strong. I would have thought all OB's had something similar.

if you read your owner's manual it says that is not for trailering, only for locking the motor in the up position while doing maintenance

My motor has two different things. One is a single cam for working on or to be used when mooring and a heavy duty double arm thing to be used for trailering.
