Suzuki DF15 Electrical System

Hey Everyone,

I am confused with my Suzuki DF15 (4-stroke, electric start) electrical system. It has 12V 145W 12A alternator system and battery charging system but i don't know how to use those.

Is the starting cable also the charging cable? Can i connect my device to that cable? The manual barely mentions anything.

the cables need to be connected to a battery and the engine charges the battery that you connect your device(s) to.

Will my device work off just the cable, without connecting to a battery?

Nevermind, I found out that I need to connect the wires to a battery first and then connect my devices to the battery in order to work. I think it has a sensor or something like that, won't produce electricity until i connect it to the battery.
