I`m changing from a I/o boat that I`ve owned for 15 or so years and going to one with a Suzuki DF150 OB. Oher than keeping my fuel treated with marine Stabil is there ANY other things I may need to know about maintaining this engine?

Thanks for any info,
Dean

Re: Suzuki DF150 inf0

You won't ever have to worry about inspecting/changing risers and exhaust manifolds again. :) Oil & gear lube changes are a breeze. Cange the water pump impeller every other year...same as with an I/O but much easier IMHO. I found a video on youtube that shows you exactly how. I believe there is something in the manual about either the 400 or 800 hour service involving checking the valve lash. Other than that, just run it and enjoy it.

Thanks G.
Never had a problem with my aluminun manifolds in my old Mercruiser luckily but I for sure will keep up with the service intervals, impellers, oil changes and such. Thanks for the reply.
