Suzuki DF25RL Starting

I have a 2011 DF25RL and this past week the starter stopped working. The motor starts with the pull cord. Can someone give me an idea of what the problem might be. I had assumed it to be a solenoid problem, but I do not see a solenoid listed on parts diagrams. The last few times I started it with the elec starter I could tell something was amiss as the it sounded weaker and weaker. Any help is greatly appreciated.

bad battery or connections would be my guess

I have replace the battery..........and there is power to the post on the unit.........
Any further suggestions are greatly appreciated

+ or neg connections or the cables themselves ca cause low voltage/current flow.
need to do a voltage drop test while under a load
just like load testing a battery
