Suzuki DF60T alarm

I have a 2000 DF60T The check eng. light sounds alarm and flashes 1 time and then five times. I took it to a shop and the tec said it is suposed to shut down but it dont. It runs like a top. Can anyone tell me what this code means and should i stop runing it.

Go BACK to the shop and have the tech look in the front of his service manual for what the 1/5 flash means. It's inexcuseable for him to let you back on the water with no explanation. My service manuals are at work, which makes it impossible for me to tell you tonight.
